Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Cheated By a Fake Advertisement: The parliament as witness amongst all parliamentarians the Vice-President had not minced his words to say how he himself got cheated by a fake commercial ‘weight-loss’ advertisement. Venkaiah Naidu during the discussion on fake ads in the parliament shared his own experience on a fake advertisement that happened to him recently. A weight loss advertisement paper had been flashed on “Weight Loss” in a nationwide newspaper. This ad shrewdly showed how to lose weight in the shortest span of time making the readers believe to buy their ‘Weight Loss’ pills and asked the readers to pay ‘One Thousand Rupees’ to get their product.

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu Embittered by A Fake Advertisement

While reading that newspaper Venkaiah Naidu himself got impressed and talked to the company promoters. The weight loss pill – manufacturers had asked the Vice-President to pay one Thousand rupees to get the product. And Naidu paid that amount online. Afterwards, the company sent another message to Naidu saying that to use those weight loss pills; one must take another medicine along with the first medicine and asked him to pay one more thousand rupees to get the second set of tablets. The message asserted that to use first medicine, people mandatorily use the second medicine. The second message further added ‘after receiving a total amount of two thousand rupees’, only they can send two medicines together.

Venkaiah Naidu himself mentioned his own bad experience, how he himself was created by such an advertisement. Naidu shared his experience regarding the fake advertisements, those that are being flashed in the media during the discussion raked up by the Samajwadi party M.P – Naresh Agarwal. Barging into this discussion the parliament Chairman and Vice – president, Venkaiah Naidu quoted his personal experience how he was cheated by a fake advertisement that happened to him recently.

Venkaiah Naidu, suspecting it as a fake advertisement complained to the Union Minister of Food and Public Distribution – Ram Vilas Paswan to look into that issue. Ram Vilas having made his own investigation, revealed the fact to the Vice-President that the advertisement flashed in Indian newspapers belongs to an American company. Venkaiah Naidu appealed to the Minister of Food and Public Distribution – Ram Vilas Paswan to take stringent action on such companies those that are cheating people.
