After a long gap of such movies, director – ‘Sukumar’ is courageously coming forward and chose to take a movie in a village genre, named- ‘Rangasthalam.’ Ramcharan Tej with his nickname ‘Chittibabu’ is a “Helmsman” (A boat driver-simple to understand) Rama Lakshmi, a poor girl, the role played by ‘Samantha’ Aadhi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu play crucial roles. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.

Chitttibabu and Rama Lakshmi fall in love. Due to their love affair, they have to face any repercussions.  The most interesting part of this movie is – it is entwined with a power-packed political part. From the known sources, the story of the movie Rangasthalam is entangled with the political panorama of 1995 and the influences and effects – they crawl in the movie will make the movie run interesting.    Particularly, the clippings those that take place at the ‘Mandal’ scenes are nail-biting.

Distributor Ramakrishna said,” “Digital rights have come in like a blessing in disguise along with raise in overseas and satellite rights for star-studded movies. We need not be surprised, if more films cross the magic figure of Rs 100 crore in days to come,” he concludes.”
