Joint Fact-Finding Committee hands over its ‘Report’ to Pawan Kalyan: The Joint Fact-Finding Committee, constituted by Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan is reported to have handed over its revelations to him. The JFC members include Lok Satta founder Jaya Prakash Narayan and former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar, exemplary bureaucrats – Padmanabhayya, IYR, and Chandra Sekhar.
Joint Fact Finding Committee hands over its ‘Report’ to Pawan Kalyan
The JFC during its two meetings (15th and 16th February 2018) revealed its objectives and made them public to find out the facts as to know how far the central government and both Telugu speaking states stood by the promises they had made (during and after bifurcation of the United Andhra Pradesh).
The Jana Sena Party Chief Pawan Kalyan, though officially declared that he had received the committee report but not disclosed the facts yet. Pawan Kalyan and the JFC members were reported to have a clandestine meeting on 1st March in Hyderabad to discuss on the issues those that they got so far as a part of their ‘First Fact-Finding’ meeting. During the next two days of deliberations, the Jana Sena Chief and JFC members are expected to make their findings public with a confirmed information on hand.
The ‘JFC – Report’ seems to have included some information on the following issues:
The Central Government and the both ‘Telugu Speaking States’ have not provided any benefits to the people. (It’s worth recalling the statement made by Lok Satta founder – Jaya Prakash Narayan that the JFC is meant for both Telugu speaking States)
The Central Government has not provided the funds sought by the State Governments.
The Central Government failed to keep up its promise that it made especially to Andhra Pradesh on the issue of ‘Special Package’ instead of ‘Special Category Status.’
