CBSE Class 10th & Class 12th Exams 2018: Central Board Secondary Education (CBSE) has scheduled the Class 10th and 12th Examinations from Monday. This year 28 lakh students are going to appear for CBSE Board examinations, as per the update from the board. As per the statistics, 16,38,428 candidates have registered for the class 10th examinations and 11,86,306 candidates have registered for class 12th examinations. All the students appearing for the CBSE exams are instructed to carry the hall tickets without fail. Candidates will be permitted to attempt the exams only after checking the hall tickets. Also, another important instruction for students is to report at the examination center before 30 minutes of the examination to avoid the unnecessary tension of reaching late. Students will not be allowed to attend the examination even if they reach 1 minute late.
CBSE Class 10th & Class 12th Exams To Start From Monday
The CBSE is going to organize the class 10th and class 12th examinations with the Comprehensive and Continuous Evaluation (CCE) adopted earlier. As per the updates from the board the Class 10th examinations will be held in 4453 examination centers across India and 78 examination centers outside India. And the class 12th examinations will be held in 4138 examination centers in India and 71 examination centers outside India. This year the board is taking the extreme safety measures to organize the examinations. Proper arrangements have been made by the board to carry out the examinations smoothly.
CBSE Allows Special Facilities for physically challenged, Diabetes and Relaxation in Pass Marks
The board has taken special care of students with disabilities, and students with medical issues. For diabetes suffering students, the board is allowing to carry eatables into the exam hall. This year 4,510 physically challenged aspirants were appearing for class 10th and 2,846 PHD aspirants were taking up the class 12th examinations. As part of offering them special amenities, the CBSE is allowing them to write the examination using their laptops. To utilize this special rule, candidate’s laptops will be checked by the computer teachers clearly before proceeding to the examination. Also, the board is taking sufficient care in arranging the security, medical facilities for the students. also, the CBSE has relaxed the pass mark to 33%. Earlier it used to be 35%. From this year the board has provided the pass marks relaxation for all students.
“The board has made appropriate arrangements with state authorities and local police to ensure trouble free examinations throughout the country,” the CBSE official said.
